Students study in groups the levels of which are indicated above. To get a confirmation of the language proficiency level achieved, students can take a proficiency level examination which is for a fee and is held several times a year. More information about the level examinations. | ||
When to start or continue the course? | Students can start studying either in the autumn semester or that of spring. Having completed one semester, students can continue the course in the next semester. |

Class Attendance | Applicants should pledge to attend at least 80% of all classes. | |

Placement | Before the course begins, students who know at least some Lithuanian will do a placement test. |

On-site Classes | The duration of a morning or evening class is 2 academic hours (1.5 hours). On-site classes take place at the Faculty of Philology, Vilnius University (Universiteto g. 5, 01513 Vilnius). |

Online Classes | Studying online is possible in morning and evening groups. The duration of a morning or evening class is 2 academic hours (1.5 hours). |

Cultural Lectures | There will be lectures on Lithuanian culture. | |

Language of Instructions | Explanations for beginners are delivered in English. In higher groups, Lithuanian is the primary language of communication. |
