FAQs about the Erasmus+ Studies
The call for applications for ERASMUS+ exchange studies is open twice a year:
in February – for the autumn semester or the next whole academic year;
in September – for the spring semester.
Criteria for students applying for Erasmus+ partial studies at a foreign university
- The number of student places and months offered by the host university.
- Study progress:
a) the GPA of the last two semesters must not be lower than 8 (the average is not rounded);
b) the student has no debts and/or academic debts when applying for the Erasmus+. More information about debts >https://www.vu.lt/en/studies/academic-info-for-students/study-process/assessment-and-rotation
- Clear/explicit and reasonable motivation·
- Choice of university (two choices suitable for the studied program are possible).
- The student in their ongoing study programme did not use the limit of 12 months for Erasmus+ exchange mobility for studies and/or internship.
*When registering for Erasmus+ studies, please pay attention to the language proficiency level required by the host university.
Regarding partial studies in the last semester of a study programme
Approved at the VU FilF Board of Studies meeting on 02/11/2022.
Students cannot go on an exchange in the 8th BA semester and the 4th MA semester.
