Minor studies is an optional part of BA study programmes. The volume of minor studies is 60 ECTS credits.
Total student's workload of one semester is 30 ECTS credits. In minor studies of the Faculty of Philology, in 3rd-6th semesters minor studies take up 10 credits per semester and in 7th semester there are 20 credits designated for minor studies. The rest of the credits must be chosen in major studies. Number of credits per semester for minor studies in other faculties might vary. Students who choose a minor study programme study less individual studies' subjects.
Students register for minor studies in the second semester of their first year. The registration is open from April 1 until April 30.
