We invite you to join the Naomi Prawer Kadar International Yiddish Summer Program at Tel Aviv University from July 1 to July 29, 2021.
While there is hope that students will be able to learn from the stellar faculty in person, the classes and events will be moved online if necessary.
The program will offer Yiddish instruction for current university students at 4 levels (including an advanced seminar for research students), taught by an international faculty of leading instructors and experts in Yiddish Studies, as well as a rich afternoon cultural program in an exciting urban center. This Yiddish program is one of the largest and most diverse in the world. In 2019, it brought together over 100 participants from 13 different countries.
Scholarship funds are available for students joining the program from abroad.
We invite you to take a look at this short video to hear what the students had to say about the 2019 program: Summer Program video
